What We Believe
Being a human is hard.
Each and every one of us, at some point in our lives, finds ourselves lost or stuck. We look at the things we're spending our energy on and recognize we're not moving closer to the life we want.
Our work focuses on helping people settle into those stuck moments, choose a direction, and take steps toward the life they want. The work we do is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). ACT is an evidenced-based form of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which incorporates mindfulness and behavioral change strategies. The work is not about getting rid of painful thoughts or feelings, but learning to live life fully even when pain is present.
